Paraphrasing

Paraphrasing is a way of rewriting someone text or paragraph with multiple synonyms. Many writers first spin an article to make it plagiarism free and used it as their own. There are many advance tools for paraphrasing that lessen the chances of content duplication.

Difference Between Quoting and Paraphrasing

  • In quoting you used someone saying as it is, but in paraphrasing you change it’s wording.
  • In quoting you clearly mention authors name or profile but in paraphrasing you hide the source.
  • There is not a proper way of doing paraphrasing but quoting has proper structure of citation and mention them in quotation mark.
  • Although paraphrasing is not illegal but in scholarly papers it’s risky that’s why your will be safe if you use quoting.
  • The benefit of quoting it supports your claim and increase reader’s trust but paraphrasing is just showing your opinion.
