Meaning Of Rhetorical Situation And Its Role
The word rhetoric means the use of the language in a way to persuade, inform or to entertain the audience. The rhetorical situation means the conditions in which the author has to interact with the readers/audience. The rhetorical situation is composed of the following factors:

- Audience
- Topic
- Culture
- Context
The characteristics and interest of the writers affects the writing. The way of writing is also affected by the culture and values of the writers. The age, gender, experience, beliefs and education also affects the content of the writing style and structure. The purpose of writing is very important for the writer to know because then according to it the writer used to include the vocabulary/data, like if the purpose of the writer is to persuade then real and true arguments should be included to persuade the audience. There are many writers whose purpose is t entertain the people so that is the reason they are using comic pictures and funny quotes in their writing to entertain the audience.
It is very essential for the writers to analyze the audience because they are the one who are going to read the written material so the writer must know about the factors which used to affect the audience like the age, social class, past experience, expectations, the priority of the authors is to meet the expectations of the audience. The topic of the assignment should be according to the rhetorical situation in which the wrier is working because if the topic is not aligned with it then it is very crucial for the writer to meet the expectations of the readers. The rhetorical situation is existing while writing soothe writer should be taking care of it to become best writer. Writing should be according to the purpose and the readers.
Writing is time consuming process, if the writer thinks that he can only sits for a while and finish up with the assignment then it is truly a false imagination because the writer needs to spend much time to get the best work out of the effort. The writing without considering rhetoric situation is useless because the audience needs to read what they want to read, the writer used to write what the readers want to read so it is necessary for the writer to know the interest and the language of the audience. Language is the barrier in communicating that is why it should not be so complex that the lay man would not be able to understand.
